Make a series, not a single video
When you start a new episode in Scenes AI, it inherits the cast, the locations, any photos you uploaded and your production settings from the previous one. You describe what happens next rather than reintroducing everybody — and because the character sheets carry over, the same people appear in episode five that appeared in episode one.
What carries over
Starting a new episode is not starting from scratch.
- Characters and their reference sheets, including their fixed voice descriptions.
- Locations and their two-panel plates.
- Any reference photos you uploaded.
- Your production settings — format, style, engines, voice and language.
How a new episode starts
Planning opens with a sequel check: what happens in this episode, and which of the existing cast should stay, change or be added. Because the references already exist, they are reused rather than regenerated — which means the continuity is free, and so is the cost of remaking them.
Episodes are approved one at a time
There is no batch mode that generates a season unattended, and that is deliberate.
- Each episode goes through the same six approval gates as a standalone video.
- A new episode starts back in planning with generation locked, so nothing is bought before you have approved the plan.
- You can switch back to an earlier episode at any point, and read its script or scene list while planning the next.
- Deleting an episode removes its media; the rest of the series is untouched.
Why this matters more than it sounds
A channel or a show is a format that repeats. If the protagonist looks different every week, there is no format — just a series of unrelated videos that happen to be posted by the same account. Carrying references between episodes is the difference between publishing a show and publishing clips.
